At the end of 2023, TV star Elmar Wepper died of heart failure.

A few hours before his death, he met his colleague Uschi Glas for dinner.

Hamburg – Uschi Glas (79) and Elmar Wepper († 79) were a dream couple in front of the camera.

In the series “Two Munichers in Hamburg” they played a married couple for years and they were also married for TV in “Polizeiinspektion 1” and “Our Most Beautiful Years”.

But the two actors also got along well in their private lives and enjoyed spending their time together.

” Uschi Glas says that she met the TV star the evening before his sudden death - at a dinner that Elmar's wife had vehemently insisted on.

“We hadn’t seen each other for months,” emphasizes the actress.

She still cannot believe that Elmar Wepper suffered a cardiac arrest shortly afterwards.

“That was incomprehensible.

For Uschi Glas it is clear - with Elmar Wepper's death, the world has lost a special person.

She always felt comfortable and safe around him, especially when filming intimate scenes as a TV couple.

“Elmar was a really great colleague for me.

Always prepared and always attentive and always a very fair colleague, never unfair.

“We also shot some scenes where you had to lie down in bed or something,” says the 79-year-old.
