A man was found this Friday
dead inside a store
located in the pedestrian area of the city of Santa Fe. The victim was 57 years old and his disappearance had been reported two days ago.
After the discovery, two people were detained.
The body was in a business located at 2600 San Martín Street, between Eva Perón and La Rioja, which is dedicated to the sale of men's clothing and was
operating normally
.
Immediately after the discovery, a major police operation was deployed.
According to Santa Fe media reports, the man found would be Carlos Alberto Farías, nicknamed Pelusa, who
had been buying and selling dollars
on the pedestrian street for a long time.
On Wednesday he left his house in his truck and did not return.
The vehicle was later found in a parking lot in the central area of Santa Fe.
His family reported him missing on Thursday morning, after receiving a series of strange messages on WhatsApp from his mobile phone.
The current prosecutor of the Homicide Unit of the Public Prosecutor's Office, Estanislao Giavedoni, stated that, according to what the doctor who participated in the investigation informed him, "the
body had been in this situation for several days
." He was also unable to specify the date or cause of death. “An autopsy is going to be performed,” he clarified.
It also emerged that, through monitoring of cameras in the area, “investigators detected that Farías entered the clothing store” where his body was found.
Relatives of the victim approached the premises and
there were tense moments, with screams, insults and complaints to the Police
, and also with attacks on the patrol car that transported the man and woman who were detained.
A similar case occurred at the end of last year in Mendoza, where a young man who had left his house to see his girlfriend was murdered in a shopping arcade.
A security camera recorded the entry of Edgardo Jesús Gabriel Lucero Ramírez, 29, to the Saturno 69 store. It was on December 7, one day after his disappearance.
Hours later, two subjects left the premises with a large consortium bag.
The body was found in the Los Corralitos area, wrapped in a consortium bag.
