Sergeant Oz Daniel, 19, from Kfar Saba, was kidnapped to Gaza by Hamas on October 7 and declared an IDF terrorist - this is what the municipality of Kfar Saba, the city where he grew up, updated today. Oz, a graduate of Bar Lev Middle School and Galili High School, was "a lover of people And a true friend," his family and friends testify. "He was a musician and guitarist who believed in the power of music to change the world." Oz, son of Amir and Mirev and brother Lahdar, will be laid to rest tomorrow in the military cemetery in the city.
"You were not only a friend to me, but an inspirational and significant figure to me ", his friend with me eulogized him. "I admired and loved you so much and I'm sure it's the same with everyone who got to know and love you.
I will never forget our last conversation, just 6 hours before that damned war."
He added: "We talked about when you are coming back to Kfar Saba so that we can have more experiences together, but unfortunately I understand that there won't be anymore and I won't have anyone to talk to about music, I won't have anyone to play Xbox with and I won't have anyone to go bowling or to the beach with."

The mayor of Kfar Saba, Rafi Sa'ar, paid tribute to Oz: "141 days have passed since October 7th and we all hoped that we would receive good news that unfortunately did not come. Oz was an amazing child, always with the guitar and the captivating smile. Tomorrow, we will accompany Oz on his last journey."
