The escalation of tension between the governor of Chubut,
Ignacio Torres
, and president
Javier Milei
over the
retention of a third of the
February co-participation added a new episode this Sunday, with new interlocutors,
documents uploaded to
social networks and
denials of dates
on contacts between the province and the Nation.
It
all
happened
on
network endorsement of
Sergio Massa
himself
, then Alberto Fernández's Minister of Economy.
"On February 22, the Minister of Economy of Chubut sent me
a note requesting a new debt operation
consisting of the issuance of a bond destined entirely to the cancellation of the balance of the debt that the province maintains with the FFDP," Francos tweeted on reference to Trust Fund for Provincial Development.
"Contrary to what the lieutenant governor said,
we responded with an email on February 23
requiring the necessary documentation to advance with the requested issuance operation, in accordance with current regulations. We are awaiting the response," the minister continued.
On February 22, the Minister of Economy of Chubut sent me a note requesting a new debt operation consisting of the issuance of a bond destined entirely to the cancellation of the balance of the debt that the province maintains with the FFDP.

The response - on - did not take long to arrive.
And it came from one of the emissaries mentioned by Francos.
It was
Gustavo Menna
, vice-governor of Chubut, who directly came out to state that what Milei's minister stated on the networks was considered "false."
And he even went further at one point:
"That email did not exist
," he snapped about the email that Francos mentioned.
1) False.
The order dates back to 12/18/23.
The deadlines for December/23 and January/24 were deferred, which shows that they can do it.
They withheld the February/24 co-participation in retaliation for the lawsuit against the suspension of the Transportation Compensation Fund.
