Mathis' winter break return to school will look a little different this year.
The young boy in CE1 class in a school in Béziers will return to school, but in uniform this Monday, February 26.

“It will help reduce social inequalities and fight against the mockery often made about physical appearance
,” he explains.
The city of Béziers is the first to embark on the experiment with the unique outfit, launched by the government.
For two years, students from four schools in Béziers, but also from 87 metropolitan establishments, will go to class dressed in a polo shirt, a sweater and anthracite gray pants.
Ultimately, provided that the test is conclusive, the government could extend the measure to all public schools in 2026.
If Martin enthusiastically welcomes this experiment, this is not the case for all parents.
