Tragic traffic accident: A cyclist had a fatal accident in the municipality of Attenkirchen after being hit by a car.

- A fatal accident occurred in Attenkirchen on Saturday.
A 59-year-old woman from Au was cycling on the FS23 from Sillertshausen towards Roggendorf around 10 a.m., the police report.
At the beginning of the slope and the forest there, a 62-year-old from Schnaittacher rear-ended the cyclist with his car.
Why this happened is still unclear.
The woman fell to the ground and became unconscious.
Despite resuscitation measures, the emergency doctor ultimately had to declare the 59-year-old's death.
The Landshut public prosecutor's office ordered an accident analysis report, and the bike and car were seized.
The district road had to be completely closed for around five hours, with support from the Attenkirchen fire department and the district building depot.
