Rotem Greenfeld, from Rothschild Bank & Co.
in Israel, said: "I was happy to take part in the judging committee this year to distribute awards to women who are trailblazers in the high-tech and science industry. According to the latest report of the Innovation Authority, in 2022, 137,000 employees were employed in the high-tech industry in Israel, which is 34% of the employees in the industry .
Despite the growth in the number of women in the industry over the years, most of them are employed in non-technological positions.
Gender diversity in high-tech and industry is important, and not only for reasons of morality or social order, but because it contributes to the success of organizations and companies, and therefore all of us - men and women - should work for this.
I hope that the signs that are distributed this year will inspire more women, young and old, to integrate into key positions in the industry."
