In accordance with the announcement of the party chairman, MK Merav Michaeli, this morning (Sunday) approved the outline of the elections for the position of the next chairman, and it will be brought to the party conference for approval. The elections for the leadership of Labor will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. The approval periods will be shortened in order to allow Maximum participation of contestants and new friends.

The chairman of the Labor Party, MK Merav Michaeli said: "The country is in a big crisis and to get out of it elections are needed that will bring our people a new leadership. I invite everyone who believes and believes in true democracy, equality and hope to join the work and fight."
The CEO of the Labor Party, Nir Rosen: "The preliminary elections for the leadership of the party will be conducted online and will be open and broad in order to realize the potential inherent in them to strengthen and grow the party and the camp.
Before the primary elections, we will hold a large joining campaign as well as a series of public confrontations between the contestants, as happens in democratic parties around the world."
