The case of the missing Rebecca Reusch continues to cause a stir.
The focus now: two arbors that are said to belong to a friend of the brother-in-law.

Berlin – Rebecca Reusch from Berlin has been missing for five years.
The police are still concerned with the case.
There is still no trace of the then 15-year-old.
Rebecca's brother-in-law remains a suspect, but he is of course presumed innocent.
He denies having anything to do with her disappearance.

Missing Rebecca case still unsolved – video that has emerged poses further mysteries
Recently, a newly surfaced video from the day of Rebecca's disappearance caused a stir.
The video was sent to
the investigators by
Bild.de in the fall, as the public prosecutor confirmed.
According to the newspaper, the video was recorded by a neighborhood surveillance camera.
It shows: A pink Renault Twingo, similar to the brother-in-law's car, which drove down the street near Rebecca's sister's house at 7:24 a.m. and returned after 46 minutes.
“We know the video, we have evaluated it and there are no new findings from it,” said a spokesman for the Berlin public prosecutor’s office on Sunday (February 18) to the
German press agency

Overall, there is no new status in the case.
The brother-in-law's pink Renault Twingo - And an encounter in a forest
On the day of Rebecca's disappearance, the Twingo was registered on the A12 between Berlin and Frankfurt (Oder) in the direction of Poland.
The brother-in-law initially claimed that he had not left the house that day.
Rebecca stayed with her sister and brother-in-law on the night of February 18, 2019.
Witnesses said they saw the brother-in-law's car in a forest in Kummersdorf in Brandenburg.
The presumption of innocence continues to apply to the brother-in-law of the missing Rebecca Reusch.

now reports on two arbors and associated properties in a forest on Wolziger Weg (also Kummersdorf).
These are said to belong or have belonged to a friend of the brother-in-law.
According to information from the newspaper, the police searched the area of forest in question at the time - but not the arbors and the property.
When the video was handed over , Bild.de
informed the police and the public prosecutor's office about indications that the friend had a connection to this arbor, it goes on to say.

An arbor or a bungalow had already come into focus once in connection with the Rebecca Reusch case.
Three riders had an encounter with a man in a forest (also Kummersdorf) on February 18th.
When he saw the three women, he quickened his pace, one of the three reported in a podcast.
They couldn't see the face.
The woman said the investigators contacted her several times about the encounter.
They would have taken the sighting very seriously.
They also mentioned that a friend of Rebecca's brother-in-law owned a bungalow in this very settlement.
There was no talk of two arbors back then.
This information was not officially confirmed at the time.
The Berlin public prosecutor's office now explained to

that "the findings related to the property would be subjected to a more detailed examination."
Whether further measures follow would be decided based on this.
