A Schongau driver and her four passengers, including three children, had a guardian angel on board last Friday evening in a serious accident on the B 472 near Peiting.
Peiting - As the police report, the 43-year-old was traveling east on the federal highway around 7 p.m. when she apparently became distracted between the Peiting-West and Peiting-Süd junctions and her car crashed into the shoulder.
She then “turned the steering wheel” and lost control of the car.
According to the police, the car then crossed the road, hit an earth bank on the left side of the road and overturned.
Freed from wreckage under our own power
Both the driver and her 38-year-old passenger as well as the three children who were in the car were lucky in the accident.
According to the police, they were able to free themselves from the wreckage after the accident.
With the exception of the 43-year-old driver, who was slightly injured and taken to the Weilheim hospital for further treatment by the emergency services, all of the other occupants escaped with horror.

According to the police, the crashed car suffered a total loss of around 8,000 euros.
The Peitingen fire department was deployed with 16 men and three vehicles to secure the scene of the accident.
The federal highway had to be completely closed for a short time, and traffic was then diverted past the scene of the accident on one side.
