Shocking moment in Olching: A 23-year-old hits a dog with his car.
The owner later reports the heavily drunk man to the police.

– A 23-year-old from Emmering's blood alcohol level was exposed because he hit a dog.
He is now under investigation.

The young man hit a dog with his VW Golf around 5 p.m. near the thermal power plant in Olching on Saturday.
According to police, the four-legged friend was not injured.
After a short conversation between the driver and the dog owner, the 23-year-old continued his journey.
Dog hit: owner becomes suspicious and reports incident
However, the owner then contacted the police.
She described the incident and noted that the Emmeringer was probably drunk.
The police were able to identify the driver shortly afterwards using the license plate number and further research.
With over two per mille: 23-year-old hits dog
A voluntary alcohol test showed 2.16 per mille.
The driver was then taken to the Fürstenfeldbruck Clinic to have a blood sample taken.
The 23-year-old Emmeringer is now being investigated for endangering road traffic.
