Four people were injured in an accident in Bohmte in the Osnabrück district on Sunday morning, two of them seriously.
There is no danger to life, said a police spokesman.
The car of the four occupants, aged 17 to 27, left the road due to the 18-year-old driver's inattention - the police spoke of an "instantaneous failure".
