Be careful if Microsoft hosts your mailbox.
The official website Cybermalveillance.gouv.fr activated its
“Cyber Alert”
system this Monday relating to a
“critical security flaw”
in Outlook messaging.
Users are therefore invited to
“update the affected systems”
to limit the risks of a cyber attack.
This applies to Microsoft Office 2016, Microsoft Office 2019, Microsoft Office LTSC 2021 and Microsoft 365 Apps.
Those who use Outlook only on the internet, and not via the application, have no need to worry.
