Mourning for Horst Naumann: The former “Dream Ship” doctor died at the age of 98.
Florian Silbereisen – the current “dream ship” captain – is now saying goodbye.
Duisburg – Horst Naumann is dead, this has now been confirmed by his wife Martina Linn-Naumann.
The former “Dream Ship” doctor was 98 years old and died on February 19th.
Florian Silbereisen (42), who has been the “Dream Ship” captain since 2019, now finds touching words about the late TV legend.

Horst Naumann was a real TV legend.
He worked as an actor for over 70 years, an incredible 28 of which he was a doctor on the ZDF “Dream Ship” and impressed as “Dr.
Horst Schröder” an audience of millions.
Now his fans have to say goodbye to him.
As his wife Martina revealed to the BILD newspaper, Horst Naumann “fell asleep peacefully at home”.
They had breakfast together in bed that morning.
“Then he slept there for a bit, like he always did.
At some point he stopped breathing - I was there.
“He just fell asleep,” said the grieving widow.
He was not ill, but died of old age.
“My husband will become a little tree in our garden.
He is cremated, the ashes are then mixed with topsoil in Holland - and then a tree is planted in it.
Once it has grown a little, it comes back to me,” Martina Linn-Naumann continues.
Just a few hours after his death was announced, there were thousands of expressions of grief online.

Udo Jürgens, Helene Fischer & Sarah Engels: These stars took on guest roles
The celebrity guests on the ZDF dream ship have a tradition.
One of the first pop stars to move into a cabin on the ship was Udo Jürgens.
He played himself in the 1991 New Year's episode. Helene Fischer was also there.
In 2013, the pop queen took on the role of tour guide “Franziska Stein,” who caused quite a stir on the way to Puerto Rico.
Sarah Engels joined the ZDF dream ship twice: in 2019 and in the New Year's episode in 2022 in Namibia.
And Inka Bause is also a repeat offender.
The “Bauer sucht Frau” presenter was seen eight times as the fitness trainer Inka.

In 2019, Florian Silbereisen took on the role of Captain Max Parger.
Even though the two were never on the “dream ship” together, the death of the TV legend affected him very much.
“He was the “dreamboat” doctor who seemed to have real medical powers.
“Because of his calming and confident charisma, you could actually relax in front of the screen when he was on board,” Silbereisen told BILD.
In this way he had a decisive influence on the “dream ship”.
“Now he’s watching over us from above.”

Speaking of Florian Silbereisen: This year the pop star still has a few trips ahead of him on the ZDF steamer.
But the planning for 2025 has not yet been communicated to viewers.
