Asked about this publication which caused a lot of reaction, the host being the target of two complaints for domestic violence, the establishment is cautious.

“For the moment, there is no date to unveil his statue. We are waiting for justice to do its work
,” assures the Parisian of the Grévin museum, which recalls that it has not sent so far any press release announcing the arrival of the effigy:
“It was he who took the initiative to announce his arrival, because he is happy and very proud.”
The statue of Depardieu removed
The establishment also returns to what convinced it to welcome a reproduction of Stéphane Plaza, months before the start of his troubles with the law:
“It met our selection criteria, a positive popular image, at the heart of current affairs, unique in its field.
(...) He has an atypical background, which is why he was elected by the Académie Grévin, whose members are all personalities from the world of media.”

On December 18, the museum removed the statue of Gérard Depardieu following the broadcast of the shocking issue of “Complément d’investigation”.
The Grévin museum evoked virulent reactions from certain visitors, who began to slap the actor of
Cyrano
... Mistreatment which could also be reserved for Stéphane Plaza, if we judge by the damage to real estate agencies already committed since the beginning of the affair.

M6's internal investigation
In September 2023, Mediapart relayed the testimonies of three ex-partners of Stéphane Plaza.
The information site explained that it had “
brought together numerous elements and stories testifying to mistreatment carried out by the real estate agent popularized by M6 on three of his companions: humiliation, threats, verbal violence and, for two of them, physical violence
”.
Stéphane Plaza's lawyers denounced “
defamatory and insulting accusations
” and revealed that they had filed a complaint in June 2023 against the accusers in question for harassment.
The M6 channel, for its part, had opened an internal investigation which “
gave no evidence which would justify a sanction”
, according to Nicolas de Tavernost, general director of the M6 group.
