For Markus Söder, meat and sausage have “quasi constitutional status” in Bavaria.

The CSU boss's Instagram post was not well received by many people.

Munich - It's no secret that Söder appreciates good food.

After all, he established the hashtag #Söderisst on Instagram - the idea for this came from himself. It is also known that he likes meat, after all, the Nuremberg native once said that a life without bratwurst was possible, but pointless.

In one of his latest posts he now makes it clear: “Meat and sausage have quasi-constitutional status in Bavaria”.

“Söder just likes to eat sausage” - traffic light bashing on Instagram

He also posted four photos from the award ceremony for the Bavarian Metzger Cup in the Augsburg district.

In the first picture, the CSU boss himself can be seen biting into a sausage with relish.

“The Bavarian state government stands behind the butchery trade.

The craft deserves more respect and appreciation,” says Bavaria’s Prime Minister.

“Instead of subsidies for large corporations, the traffic light should rather invest in lower energy costs for medium-sized businesses and trades,” Söder also directly criticizes the traffic light in the post.

His Instagram post ends with the words “#Söder simply loves eating sausage.”

“Really now?” Söder’s photo receives criticism – “Bavaria is a country of animal suffering”

“That’s why animal-loving people can never vote for the CSU,” someone commented on the post.

“What about animal welfare?” another person also asks, and one comment becomes even clearer: “Constitutional status”?

Really now?

Bavaria is a country of animal suffering.

Out of tradition.”

“Nothing is too embarrassing for you”: Criticism of Söder after the sausage photo on Instagram

"Yes this is good.

I’ll upload that,” someone writes ironically.

Meanwhile, one man can no longer hear the traffic light bashing: “Just have an event without using the traffic lights every time.

That's compulsive and argumentatively cheap populism." "Nothing is too embarrassing for you!

I expect a different quality from the office of Prime Minister.

And although you accuse Aiwanger of populism, you yourself use it quite gleefully,” is the criticism in another comment.
