Because, in a few months, the artificial paradise of free money, which through some aberration allowed people to save money by going into debt (!), was transformed into hell.
Now, what did we see?
Europe's failed basket, where everyone was forced to restore their finances once the Covid hurricane had passed, France continued to spend lavishly.
At your own risk: with the rise in interest rates, borrowing becomes ruinous again.
And the rating agencies, which we had almost forgotten, are emerging from the shadows.
Like others, they observe the drift of our debt and are worried, not without reason, about our carelessness.
