A hearty strong beer festival with a special side dish was now served to the citizens of Paunzhausen.
The fun wasn't neglected either.
Paunzhausen
- “A few changes and innovations were discussed and implemented in the festival committee,” reports Sebastian Blassl, who is jointly responsible for the organization, about the preparations for the strong beer festival.
“For example, a wine bar was created in the hall, which could be operated without the influence of the weather and therefore without girls freezing.”
A collaboration for very different reasons
The TSV Paunzhausen theater group was particularly pleased to be able to perform the play “Die pious Helene” in their home community.
And that's what it was all about: The Catholic Church is in crisis, that's common knowledge.
But a possible rededication of the local church not only heats up tempers, but also causes the village landlord, who has long since left the church, and his intimate enemy, the old pastor's cook (retired), to work together - albeit for very different reasons.
There were hardly any free seats left in the well-filled Paunzhausen hall.
And the audience certainly didn't have to regret coming.

The humorous piece tackled this topic with a wink.
The organizational team, led by Sebastian Blassl, Bernhard Blassl, Andreas Herberich and Stefan Geyer, also had to deal with a lot of new things and a lot of work.
With applause and lots of laughs - as we know, the greatest compliment for actors - the audience confirmed the ensemble's great performance.
Without the many helpers in the background the whole thing wouldn't have worked
But the festival could only be a success again with many helpers in the background: starting with prompter Raphaela Lechner, through the make-up and hairstyle experts Eva Daniel and Julia Thum to the lighting and sound technicians Johannes Kastner, Korbinian Lohner, Maximilian Kreidler and Christian Kastner.
Not to forget: the beautiful stage design, designed and built by Lukas Thalhammer as well as Jasmina and Manfred Plenagl.
But the hard-working girls from the kitchen team, the men at the tavern and all the other helpers from TSV Paunzhausen and the community also made their contribution.
