On June 6, the veteran who celebrated his hundredth candle in Florida last summer intends to join the commemoration being prepared in Normandy... and add a very personal touch!

In fact, the veteran contacted the town hall of Carentan-les-Marais (Manche) to be able to marry his fiancée, aged 96, there.

The town is located a few kilometers from Sainte-Mère-Église, the Mecca of the Landings.

Decorated by Macron in the presence of Trump
