There were two avalanches near Kitzbühel.
One avalanche swept a man 70 meters away - the second caused a car accident on the B182.
Kitzbühel – A German ski tourer had great luck in misfortune on Sunday (February 25) in the Austrian region of Kitzbühel.
Two avalanches occurred around midday.
Man hit by avalanche and swept 70 meters
According to Kitzbühel police, the first avalanche was released at 11:15 a.m.

The man was not injured.
At the time, the holidaymaker was on touring skis on the closed ski route 33 when a slab avalanche occurred above him.
Just on Saturday, a snowshoe hiker was hit by an avalanche in Spitzingsee.
Two slab avalanches broke out in the region around Kitzbühel on Sunday afternoon, taking a man and a car with them.

The man was swept around 70 meters by the avalanche, but was not buried by the masses of snow.
A witness then made an emergency call.
The emergency services then rescued the man with an emergency helicopter and took him to a nearby hospital in Kitzbühel.
Second avalanche near Kitzbühel causes car accident – occupants uninjured
At around 1:30 p.m. a second avalanche broke out in the area of the municipality of Zieglstadt near Kitzbühel.
The car of a 31-year-old man from Austria who was driving on the B 182 was hit.
The car was pushed into the oncoming lane by the avalanche and collided with the car of a 32-year-old Austrian.
Both occupants remained uninjured.
Almost at the same time as the two avalanches near Kitzbühel, an avalanche accident with four deaths occurred in France on Sunday.
Just in January, a woman from Tyrol was hit by an avalanche while driving on the B182 towards Innsbruck, as

However, the driver was also uninjured and was able to leave the vehicle on her own.
