After two drunk Weilheim residents threw New Year's Eve firecrackers onto the street and then got into an argument with passers-by, the police were alerted.
The drunken men are now being investigated for, among other things, resisting law enforcement officers.
On Sunday night around 2:15 a.m., four men between the ages of 21 and 37 were expelled from a restaurant in downtown Weilheim.
While the four were then in front of the restaurant, two of the people mentioned above threw New Year's Eve firecrackers onto the street.
A dispute then developed between the two people from Weilheim (21 and 37) and passers-by, which escalated to such an extent that the police had to be called.
As the police reported, the Weilheimers, who were heavily intoxicated, tried to escape and had to be detained and restrained by police officers.
Both men were supposed to be taken into custody, but some of them vigorously defended themselves against this.
The 37-year-old fought back so hard that he injured two officers as a result of his resistance.
During the transport to the office, he also threatened the police officers with death.
The 37-year-old and his 21-year-old companion then spent the night in police custody, from which they were released in the morning.
Both Weilheimers are now being investigated for resisting law enforcement officers.
The 37-year-old also faces criminal proceedings for bodily harm and threats.
