Now Beatrice Egli is returning to the RTL show - but first she had to speak to head judge Dieter Bohlen.
Pfäffikon – DSDS fans can look forward to the soon return of pop star Beatrice Egli (35).
The singer won the RTL casting show in 2013 and has been an integral part of the music industry ever since.
Now the 35-year-old is returning to her roots - but this time she is taking a seat at the jury panel alongside pop titan Dieter Bohlen (70).

Pop singer Beatrice Egli wasn't able to convince at the ARD music quiz, but RTL is still bringing the Swiss in as a music expert for the jury for the upcoming DSDS season.
But in the past there have always been disagreements between chief juror Dieter Bohlen and her - but that is history from now on.

In an interview, the presenter says that she had a very long conversation with the 70-year-old before she accepted DSDS and that she had to clarify a few things with him in advance.
After her victory in 2013, a lot remained unsaid and Beatrice Egli made up for it in a phone call with Dieter Bohlen.
Among other things, it was about appreciation and she now sees the joint participation in “Germany is looking for the superstar” as a new beginning.

Despite Dieter Bohlen's return to DSDS, RTL is taking cost-cutting measures.
The coming season will only consist of a live show.
No expense was spared when it came to the jury, and the star line-up will also be large in 2024: in addition to the pop titan himself, singer Pietro Lombardi (31) will once again be sitting at the DSDS jury panel.
The cast is completed by rapper Loredana (28) and pop star Beatrice Egli.

Fans have so far been irritated by Beatrice Egli's DSDS commitment.
In the past, the 35-year-old said in the “Bauchgeschreiter” podcast that taking part in the RTL show was very difficult for her.
“I was really told: You have to lose weight, you have to go to the solarium and you can’t sing hits,” said the pop singer.
Dieter Bohlen even advised her to sing more English songs.
