Since Sunday the controversy has been growing on X (formerly Twitter), where calls to leave the online bank Boursorama, renamed BoursoBank for several months, have been increasing.
The reason ?
The bank, whose name also covers an economic and financial information portal, published an interview with Marion Maréchal, head of the list of the far-right Reconquest party, in the European elections.
An invitation to the Ecorama show
The interview, available in replay on the information site, was filmed as part of the daily show Ecorama last Friday.
The representative of Eric Zemmour's party is questioned on economic questions, in particular on the themes of unemployment or debt.
“There is an assistantship system in our country which discourages work,” she declares in particular.
In several messages, furious customers denounce the proximity of the online bank, a subsidiary of the Société Générale group, with the far-right party and announce that they will close their accounts.
Some even report having been blocked on social networks by the bank.

Boursorama reacts
On Monday, faced with the controversy, the company officially reacted, denying itself being “the partner” of a political party.
“For 20 years, the Boursorama information portal has been a media outlet that follows economic and financial news.
Like any media, it strives to ensure a principle of fairness between the different political parties and movements in our country,” writes the online bank on its X account.
“The list of guests of the Ecorama show which is made up of politicians from all the major parties and the main union representatives attests to this,” adds Boursorama.
Among the recent guests of the Ecorama show, we find Marc Ferracci, Renaissance MP, Aurélie Trouvé, La France insoumise MP, Frédéric Souillot, Secretary General of Force Ouvrière, and Jean-Philippe Tanguy, MP for the National Rally.
Most often, the daily show invites players from the economic world, like Antoine de Saint-Affrique, general director of Danone last week.
