More staff in the school district needs more space and new offices: The district office is renting 340 square meters in the city center of Ebersberg.

- It is an enchanted corner of Ebersberg where the local school authority currently resides.
The authority, responsible for all primary and secondary schools in the district, is now leaving its home, which is reminiscent of a witch's house, between the home economics school, the railway track and the forest cemetery.
The office is moving into the middle of the city center.
340 square meters near the town hall
There, on Ulrichstrasse next to the old cinema, the district office has rented new rooms;
340 square meters at 13.15 euros each, the authority announced upon request - a calculated monthly rent of 4,471 euros.
It is currently being renovated for around 100,000 euros.
Part of the area will also be used by the district office in the future.

The previous rooms in the building on Wasserburger Straße, owned by the district, had become too small due to the increasing number of employees, from five people in the 1960s to twelve people now.
These would have to share a few rooms on the ground and basement floors.
“The move to Ulrichstrasse will once again enable adequate provision of workstations and good meeting opportunities for the individual employees.” This is how the district administration justifies the move of the school authority after around 20 years at this location.

Twelve employees: More tasks, more employees
There are now three school inspectors, four administrative employees, an advisory principal and three employees from the inclusion office working for the school authority.

The vacant building next to the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry (AELF) would continue to be used by the district office as office and meeting rooms in the future.
It is not yet clear from whom exactly.
“In principle, the Ebersberg district is constantly growing and with it its administrative tasks, which means more staff and the required space,” says the press office of the district office, which has now grown to more than 600 employees.
