The hearing on the seizures ordered by the deputy prosecutor Marco Gianoglio and the public prosecutors Mario Bendoni and Giulia Marchetti in charge of the investigation into the alleged fraudulent declaration on the tax returns of Marella Caracciolo, wife of Gianni Agnelli, from 2018 and 2019.
The lawyers of John Elkann and the family accountant Gianluca Ferrero, investigated together with the Swiss notary who had looked after Donna Marella's inheritance, Urs Robert Von Gruenigen, had presented an appeal for lack of motivation, contesting, as the newspaper Corriere della Sera states, the relevance between the dispute of Caracciolo's alleged fictitious residence in Switzerland and the mass of documents and electronic devices taken and copied in the searches carried out last February 7 by the financial police.
Among the documents in the hands of the magistrates there is also the graphological consultancy which indicates as "reasonably apocryphal" Marella's signatures on some documents considered important, such as testamentary additions.
The graphological consultation was carried out starting from the photocopies, but now a second one has been arranged on some original documents, three of the 14 that the prosecutor's office was looking for.
