It is sold between 299 euros and 399 euros, and allows Honor to position itself on entry-level phones.
The Honor Magic 6 Lite, released at the start of the year, displays a rather complete technical sheet on paper: a 6.78-inch Oled screen, a 5300 mAh battery, a 108 mega pixel main sensor accompanied by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chip. And in use?
Here is our verdict.
We liked
Its autonomy.
The Honor Magic 6 Lite has rock-solid battery life, which makes it one of the most positive points of the phone.
Its capacity of 5300 mAh makes it a phone powerful enough to last a full day.
We never ran out of battery during this test.
Crash test passed the Honor Magic 6 Lite laptop... we threw it, dropped it and used it like a hammer... it is unbreakable!

His resistance.
This phone is practically unbreakable, the brand knew how to use it claiming that it could be used as a hammer to drive a nail into a wooden plate with the glass of the smartphone.
We tried, and it works, the phone has no damage.
You can drop it, throw it, it will resist.
A perfect smartphone for daredevils or clumsy people.
We are mixed
On his waist.
If you prefer small phones, it's better to move on.
Despite large pockets, the phone takes up a lot of space with its 17-centimeter screen.
Obviously, this size makes watching films or series very comfortable and navigation very fluid, whether within applications, games or the home page.
Its aesthetic.
The smartphone has a large lens, taking up just over a third of the phone's rear surface.
On the other hand, despite its size, it has a rather simple and thin overall design, and it is light (185 g), which makes it quite pleasant in the hand.
At the back of the Honor Magic 6 Lite, a sizable lens is revealed.

Its charging time.
It is relatively long, around 1h25, which is complicated when you want to recharge a little battery quickly.
We liked it less
Its photo quality.
The Honor Magic 6 offers fairly ordinary photo quality, not surprising for an entry-level phone.
It's still more than enough if you're not a great photographer.

The wide-angle is limited to x0.6 and is not compatible with night mode, too bad!
On the other hand, the zoom goes up to x8, which is more than correct.

Verdict
Even us iPhone regulars find the Honor Magic 6 Lite quite pleasant to use, and the navigation in the menu is less disruptive than on other Android phones.
The battery life is amazing, the camera much less so.
It remains a very good entry-level phone: the value for money is indeed more than positive.
Alternatives in the same category: the Google Pixel 7a, the Sony Xperia 10 IV, the Motorola Edge 40.
