Thursday, a 31-year-old Stéphanois was arrested in Vaulx-en-Velin after a long chase with the police.
Around 7:30 p.m., at the wheel of his vehicle, he was spotted by the police because of his particularly dangerous driving on the ring road between Villeurbanne and Lyon.
Pursued, he refused to comply with police injunctions before finally being blocked at the Croix-Luizet exit on Boulevard Laurent Bonnevay.
Here again, the thirty-year-old tried to flee by deliberately hitting several vehicles.
He was eventually arrested by a police crew shortly after.

Known to the police
Very unfavorably known to the police, he was placed in police custody where he admitted the facts.
The investigation opened led to the determination that the vehicle in which he committed the hit-and-run was stolen.
Inside, documents and a key that did not belong to him were discovered.
Two people in the hit vehicles were slightly injured.
They were taken care of by the firefighters.
The Stéphanois must be presented to the public prosecutor's office this Monday with a view to an immediate appearance for "refusal to comply with endangering the lives of others, intentional injury and willful damage to private property".
