There was already a huge rush at the opening of the 7th health fair in the town hall on Saturday.

The seventh health fair took place in Erding at the weekend.
The topic is obviously very relevant in the region.
Erding - According to Erding's mayor Max Gotz, a "drastically aging society" and a public health system under extreme cost pressure on the one hand and increasingly health-conscious people on the other - these were the circumstances of the 7th health fair in the town hall at the weekend.
As the organizer, Hallo-Verlag was able to welcome a four-digit number of visitors on both days of the trade fair.
More than 30 exhibitors and numerous lectures - and all free of charge - made the town hall a hub for getting and staying healthy for two days.
The medical supply stores were represented, but also the rescue organizations and the clinic, at whose stand there were several doctors, including the medical director, private lecturer Dr.
Lorenz Bott-Flügel, questions were answered.
The clinic also took the opportunity to promote nursing professions and training.
The Wartenberg Clinic and the Isar-Amper-Klinikum Taufkirchen were also represented in the town hall.
The district's health region plus informed visitors about its network function.
The care support center presented its advisory services, which are aimed at those affected and their relatives.
Arrange the last things: That was the concern of the hospice, hospice association and Palliative Team Erding.

A first was the joint stand of the Hospice Association, the Sophienhospice and the Erding Palliative Care Team.
Its managing director Steffen Ziener said: “We want to educate visitors about what options there are at the end of a life.
Many people don’t know how closely the three institutions work together for the benefit of the dying and their relatives.” Dr.
Johannes Schollen, chairman of the hospice association, promoted the living will.
“We don’t want to spoil anyone’s fun.
But it is important to take care of everything in the event of a sudden serious illness or an accident.” We also support the relatives or survivors.
Franz Becker from Hallo-Verlag said at the opening: “The fair is also intended to show what everyone can do for their own health.” He was probably thinking of the General German Bicycle Club, which presented its offers and tours.
Becker said he was impressed by how many opportunities there are in Erdinger Land to improve general well-being and practice prevention.
With regard to the highly loss-making Erding Clinic, Becker said: “It can make you fearful and anxious when you imagine that this facility no longer exists.” This ball was attended by Mayor Max Gotz as patron and deputy district administrator Franz Hofstetter.
Both supported the hospitals in Erding and Dorfen.
They are not up for grabs.
For both of them, there is no way around health care close to home.
In this context, Gotz called on the state and federal governments never to make decisions without involving the grassroots, because the consequences would become clear here.
Gotz criticized the health insurance companies for not providing the resources to provide the population with cost-covering care.
This makes volunteers in aid organizations such as BRK, Johanniter or Malteser all the more important for the mayor.
But they are also active in the hospital, said Gotz, referring to the “Green Ladies,” a voluntary visiting service.

The health spectrum also includes pharmacies.
The one from West Erding Park was represented with a stand.
There, those interested could find out about the new e-prescription and find out how pharmacists advise their customers on polymedication, i.e. when several medications have to be taken.
