This time, the dog was involved in the Daleckn of the Non-Party Voters' Group (PWG) - quite literally, because author and partial protagonist Erich Kasberger relied on dog metaphors this year.

Pöcking –

With his humorous voice and his well-paced speaking pace, Erich Kasberger was able to enjoy expressing mild, mean thoughts at the 25th Dableckn in Pöcking on Saturday, which was rewarded with lots of applause by the around 250 listeners in the Beccult.

This also included suspenders.

The host-bearer sketch among the 15 or so program items initially seemed to be aimed at losing weight.

Then the pivot: “There are fewer and fewer people wearing suspenders, but there are more and more people who have reservations,” scoffed Kasberger.

Whether a garage has to be advertised across Europe, whether proof of parking space is required for robot dogs or whether businesses can tolerate a speed limit of 30 - this type of local council always comes together "to consider their concerns, because in order to consider the thoughts, the consideration is essential."

Strong applause for the complex chain of words and the embedded criticism of “the fine art of making possible things impossible through reservations”.

In his short Lenten sermon, Kasberger set the tone by referring to South Tyrolean plans to assign dog poop to the owners via DNA scan with a fine of up to 1,000 euros.

“And then you understand: The dog is making such a racket in big business because he is actually a money printing machine.” This caused laughter in the hall, because the around 250 visitors could clearly sense that the community treasury was empty.

After Kasberger suspected that “Rossboin” (horse apples) were also worth money, the amateur cabaret artists took over.

In a snappy role reversal, the sporty Katharina Glas shooed the panting Ludwig Gansneder to awkwardly bend over to bag the bag: “He looks old when he's cold,” he snorted.

Art break: “He goes warm” – burst of laughter!

Another sketch: Christel Peukert complained about a pile on the sidewalk.

Owner Glas, with a cute couch roll dachshund, began the argument: “All Pöckingen dog owners pay 19,700 euros.” – “But refilling the bag stations costs 17,688 euros.” – “Then there are still 2,012 euros left, perhaps to finance the Christmas lights .” Next laugh.

In the main sketch, the three local mayors were brought onto the stage as dog photo cardboard: four-legged friends in the school for problem dogs and people.

Wolfram Staufenberg (third, CSU) – a boxer who is not very flexible.

“Luppi/Lumpi” Albert Luppart (second, PWG) – a greyhound stray who is often absent, but who is always happy to hold his tail up.

Pruster gave that in the hall;

Apparently the strong beer worked.

As a Golden Retriever, Mayor Rainer Schnitzler (PWG) shone with a thick coat: “He is to blame for everything, whether the indoor swimming pool is not warm enough or the S-Bahn is late,” said his owner Christel Peuker.

But what kind of deficits does he have: “The piggy bank is his favorite toy” and “no longer remember where he buried the five million”.

After Peuker shone perfectly in the role of a “noble dog” – “We in the district are not average,” she cooed skillfully over her Aperol snifter – we went to the four-legged friend's funeral.

Funeral speaker Horst Curth expanded the topic and also ceremoniously buried the large fire station in Maising and the pedestrian bridge over the roundabout - and in church-like answers, Kasberger, Glas and Gansneder called out a deeply sad "shortened" for "association grants" and their "for the bright street lighting" Sympathy".

The auction of dog cardboard helped to get out of the deep Pöckingen valley of financial tears - incredibly funny and moderated by Curth and Kasberger.

Ultimately, those depicted auctioned themselves with amounts of 100, 150 and 220 euros.

The evening was framed by a piano performance by the newly appointed classical music professor Norbert Groh, Bavarian music by Hans-Horst Glas and the Dableckn speech by PWG boss Albert Luppart, who directed mild ridicule at the Bavarian parties (“We from the PWG are, by the way not the Free Voters”) and formulated a harsh, widely applauded rejection of left- and right-wing extremism.

In addition, Luppart mocked a neighboring town: "In Starnberg the Bayerischer Hof is weathering away, but if it breaks, at least it falls softly into the 'Kulturstrand', Starnberg's official litter box." The PWG jack-of-all-trades also shone with humorous toasts.

A young guest of honor had fun: the finalist for the next Bavarian Beer Queen, the 26-year-old Anna Gansneder.

Online voting, which is mandatory not only for all Pöckingen residents, is planned for April.
