A new illustration of the territorial divide in France between urban areas and rural areas.
The residents of more than 500 homes located in the community of communes of Deux Morin (CC2M) have signed a petition.
They are contesting the annual fee of 440 euros that they must pay if the disposal of their wastewater does not comply with the law.
They also wonder why the Seine Normandy Water Agency (AESN) no longer financially supports the work to bring it up to standard while it continues to do so for other geographical areas.
