The series of burglaries in Markt Schwaben continues: Now the perpetrators struck in a motorcycle shop.

The police are hoping for witnesses.

- There have been repeated burglaries in Markt Schwaben since last autumn.

So far, the perpetrators have mostly attacked restaurants.

But other businesses are not spared either.

Now it hit a motorcycle shop, as the Poing police announced on Monday, February 26th.

According to the police, the previously unknown perpetrators struck on the night of Saturday, February 24th to Sunday, February 25th.

first a hole in the window pane of the motorcycle shop's boiler room, but they couldn't get any further from there due to a locked fire door.

They then used several stones and an iron bar to break the glass door of the main entrance until they could climb through.

Perpetrators break open cash registers and steal clothing

In the store, the perpetrators broke open the cash register but found no loot other than a few coins that they were not interested in.

They ended up taking some motorcycle clothing with an unknown value.

The damage to the window and the entrance door is estimated at 2000 euros.

The police assume that breaking the window with several attempts must have caused some noise.

The Poing inspection asks for any relevant information by calling 08121-99170.
