The Verdi union has called for nationwide strikes next week.

Public transport is to be paralyzed in a “wave strike”.

Here are the details.

Berlin – Next week it will be chaos again for the transport companies.

The Verdi union has called for “wave strikes” lasting several days on different days in all federal states except Bavaria.

130 companies are affected in the week from February 26th to March 1st.

Most of the strikes are scheduled to take place on Friday, March 1st. 

Here is a big overview of all the strikes known so far and when they should take place (as of February 22nd, 3:15 p.m.):

Strike in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria

Bavaria is the only federal state where there are no strikes.

In Baden-Württemberg, however, there will be a strike on March 1st, as the

Tagesschau

reports.

It is still possible that there will be strikes on other days in Baden-Württemberg at short notice.

“As always, we will announce our strike days in good time so that passengers can prepare for them,” it said, according to the

Tagesschau

.

In principle, the following cities could be affected:

Stuttgart, Karlsruhe, Heilbronn, Freiburg, Baden-Baden, Esslingen and Konstanz.

Berlin and Brandenburg

In Berlin, the restrictions will begin on Monday (February 26th), as other unions have also called for strikes.

The strike on Monday runs from 3 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein

In Hamburg, buses and subways are to be on strike on February 29th and March 1st.
