Hundreds of customers who were harmed by the companies "Momento Laser" and "Dr. Witt" which are under joint ownership, now (Monday) intend to file a class action lawsuit amounting to tens of millions of shekels after the companies stopped providing them with the service they paid for, and this according to them without receiving any notification early and without announcing a regulated bankruptcy proceeding.
Many network influencers such as Elad Levy and the models Ruslana Rodina and Taylor Malkov, were recruited in recent months for the benefit of advertising on social media for the laser hair removal chain "Momento" and the teeth whitening and design chain "Dr. White".
The two treatment centers, whose advertising and recommendations instilled a sense of credibility among the many customers, offered extremely cheap deals for a series of treatments.
For example, an advertisement of the Hair Removal Institute offered to provide an unlimited treatment series in different areas of the body for NIS 1,500.
Now after thousands of customers paid for transactions and were in the middle of a series of treatments, they claim that the companies completely stopped their operations and disappeared along with all the money without any prior warning to the customers.
"I paid money to the 'Momento' chain to get laser treatments and suddenly the branches were completely closed," a customer who paid for a lifetime treatment deal shared with Walla.
"There are no more treatments, the hotline doesn't answer. There's no one to talk to now. All this while we're in the middle of treatments, right? I was promised lifelong treatment and I've already done a few, but now I can't continue. They just disappeared completely. At first I didn't think it was a sting because Everything worked pretty well, but then they disappeared."

"For example, there is a really old guy who took a loan to fix his teeth and didn't get any treatment. They just disappeared with all the money."
"We are talking about a group of companies that collected thousands of shekels from customers and did not provide compensation," said attorneys Guy Sarosi and Uriel Zaira, who represent hundreds of customers who intend to file a class action lawsuit. "The owner fled and the branches were closed and do not provide service to the disappointed customers.
We are taking liquidation and asset seizure procedures against the companies, and soon a trustee will be appointed by the court to sell the assets and distribute the funds among the victims."
