Nursing trainees in Unterallgäu were able to exchange ideas with their practice instructors and nursing service managers during a district-wide day of action in order to make their training time more profitable.

Unterallgäu – What is going well in our care facilities?

How could one or the other be made better?

What wishes do I have of my employer?

Action day for nursing trainees from retirement homes in Unterallgäu:

These and similar questions were the focus when the trainees from the three district senior citizens' homes in Babenhausen, Bad Wörishofen and Türkheim met with their practice instructors and nursing service managers for a day of action.

During the mutual feedback in the St. Andreas district senior citizens' home in Babenhausen, existing difficulties as well as opportunities and development opportunities during the training period were identified.

Mutual feedback, difficulties and opportunities

Develop individually “It is important to us to offer the best conditions as an attractive employer.

That's why we keep our ear very close to the next generation of nurses.

Our trainees should be able to develop individually with us and, ideally, continue to work for us as specialists after their exams,” says District Administrator Alex Eder, happy about this type of event.

At the end of the day, the young people's growth process was symbolically supported: with tulip bulbs for the trainees, watering cans for the practice instructors and fertilizer for the nursing service managers.
