Two people were injured this Monday morning in a fire in their house.
It was around 8 a.m. when the firefighters were called to intervene in a house located rue du Docteur-Lauzié, in Verneuil-sur-Seine (Yvelines).
A 59-year-old woman was airlifted to Garches hospital (Hauts-de-Seine) due to poisoning following smoke inhalation as well as burns to her body.
A 60-year-old man, also poisoned by smoke and suffering from burns, was transported to the Poissy Saint-Germain hospital center (Chips).
Firefighters also injured
This fire, the origin of which is unknown, also caused casualties among the firefighters.
Three of them were injured by burns to their hands while trying to help the residents of the pavilion.

Fire professionals were still responding this Monday morning to try to contain the fire.
The circumstances in which the fire started are still unknown.
