The fifth episode of the successful series is devoted to his rivalry with Pierre Gasly, a Norman like him, and a new pair in the team then led by Otmar Szafnauer (he left his position last July, editor's note.)

What about Esteban Ocon’s girlfriend?
He is in a relationship with
Flavy Barla
, who is none other than a former candidate for the Miss France competition.
Miss Côte d'Azur 2022, she finished fifth runner-up in the election won by Indira Ampiot.
At the time, the 19-year-old from Nice did not hide her ambition.
“When I embark on a project, I don’t do things by halves
,” she told us before the preparation trip to Guadeloupe.

The Nice woman also told us that she was suffering from a “
serious illness
” without giving any further details.
“I grew up in hospitals a bit, which gave me a medical background,”
added the woman who was then studying medicine.
Passionate about dance, she has already participated in “Incredible talent” in Spain, Italy and even France in 2018 when she was only 17 years old.
After the Miss France election, Flavy Barla has resumed her studies since she recently published a photo of an operating room with this caption: “My biggest dream” (my biggest dream, in French).
In the biography of her Instagram account, followed by nearly 140,000 people, she introduces herself as “external in medicine”.
Formalization in December 2023
The young woman does not appear in “Formula 1: Drive to Survive”.
And for good reason: at the time of filming, the lovebirds were not yet a couple.
Or at least their relationship wasn't official.
The couple posed for the first time in front of photographers on December 18, in Paris, on the red carpet of the FFSA Motor Sport Trophies.
Since then, they have continued to share photos together on social networks, during a stay in Venice at the end of the year or two weeks ago during Flavy Barla's 21st birthday.
Proof that the relationship is serious, Esteban Ocon even invited his sweetheart to a family photo shoot where the pilot's parents also appear.
