A young 23-year-old worker died in an industrial accident that occurred on the outskirts of Stornara in the Foggiano area.
According to initial reports, the worker was engaged in work on the installation of an irrigation system when he was apparently overwhelmed and crushed by the material accumulated on the edge of the excavation.
Firefighters and Carabinieri intervened on site and are carrying out checks to reconstruct the exact dynamics of what happened.
