Landsberg – Last weekend was rather less successful for the Riverkings.
They suffered defeat in both games against Peißenberg - but nothing has been decided in the play-off series yet.
Double defeat in the ice hockey Bayernliga play-offs: HC Landsberg forced to win on Friday
In the third game of this series, the Riverkings traveled again to Peißenberg to meet the Miners.
Both teams went to work with a lot of commitment and speed from the first second.
In the sixth minute, Peißenberg took advantage of a numerical advantage and was able to make it 1-0 through Vogl.
However, the approximately 350 Landsberg fans who had traveled with them saw Frantisek Wagner equalize just two minutes later.
When Lynnden Pastachak was able to give the home team a 2-1 lead in the eleventh minute, the HCL responded promptly - just 25 seconds later, Frantisek Wagner equalized to make it 2-2.
Despite a few more chances on both sides, the two goalies Borst and Sertl could not be overcome and the score was 2-2 going into the first third break.
The close and competitive game continued in the second third.
Frantisek Wagner was able to score the only goal of the third on the Landsberg side: After a nice pass from Lukas Heß, he scored with a shot from the left half-distance to make it 2-3.
Coach Martin Hoffmann's men start the final third outnumbered.
After 50 seconds, Lynnden Pastachak equalized to make it 3:3.
Landsberg continued to fight and took the lead again.
This time the goalscorer was Lars Grözinger.
After another penalty against Landsberg, Valentin Hörndl equalized to 4:4.
This result remained the same until the final siren of regular time.
The ten-minute extra time remained goalless and so there was a showdown in a penalty shootout.
After Moritz Borst was able to save the first two penalties and showed no weakness against him, Dominik Krabbat scored the winning goal for the home team with the third penalty.
Ice hockey Bayernliga play-offs: Peißenberg also wins a guest game in Landsberg
On Sunday Peißenberg was a guest at the Landsberg ice rink.
With 1,830 spectators, the game was again well attended and there was a good atmosphere on both sides right from the start.
The Riverkings didn't get into the game quite as well this time and after seven minutes Dejan Vogl was able to make it 0-1 for the guests.
As a result, Landsberg tried to get into his own game better.
This was achieved towards the end of the first third, but a goal would not be scored.

In the second third the time had finally come: Manuel Müller equalized in the power play.
However, the HCL game was repeatedly characterized by losses of targets and unclean build-up passes.
Valentin Hörndl was able to put Peißenberg back in the lead in the 32nd minute.
In this phase, the Landsbergers simply didn't bring enough targets towards the Miners' goal.
Nevertheless, the boys fought and struggled to somehow force an equalizer.
In the final third, Valentin Hörndl increased the score to 1:3 for TSV with his second goal.
HC Landsberg kept throwing themselves out of rhythm with penalties.
Three minutes before the end, coach Martin Hoffmann put everything on one card and took goalkeeper Moritz Borst off the ice in favor of a sixth skater.
This courage was rewarded in the 59th minute of the game when Florian Stauder scored the goal to make it 2-3.
The HCL now threw everything forward and continues to play without a goalie.
Martin Lidl took advantage of a loss of targets in the opposing third and scored from a distance to make it 2:4 using an empty net for the Miners.
The Riverkings have to win in the away game next Friday in Peißenberg, otherwise the series will be over and the HCL will go into the summer break.
