For some time now we have observed an increase in encounters between women, who work with the feminine through a look at traumas, toxic relationships or life choices.

This was strengthened after the pandemic, when it was shown that women suffered the most from symptoms of depression, anxiety and stress.

La Coralina is a hotel completely focused on well-being: recognized for the various retreats it holds throughout the year, it also has a spa with holistic treatments that aim to take care of the mind and body of each person.

Elemental Goddess

This retreat will be conducted by two Panamanian therapists who have been dedicated to women for more than 10 years.

Aura Bermúdez and Aurora Brenes.

Both work with yoga, Ayurvedic nutrition, tantra and the cyclical nature of women.

It will be a meeting for both those who want to heal something physical and for those seeking to live better with their own body or find peace in their relationships.

"We want to show that in each phase of our life we have a version of our inner goddess and that we can find a balance in all stages," says Aurora, a yoga teacher.

She began the teachings of tantra and feminine pleasure at a time when little was said about the subject.

Today she accompanies pregnant women or women who are in the postpartum period, and she performs uterus cleaning work, which is increasingly present in these circles.

"The uterus contains all the information of the body, whether they are traumatic or happy experiences. If we do not heal or cleanse our uterus, we do not process everything that happens to us, we disconnect from our body," she explains.

"We are living in a time of awakening feminine energy. I think the pandemic has changed a lot, it has shown other ways of living. More and more women want to be in spaces with other women, spaces of empowerment. We are pack beings, we want to be together and connect," says Aurora Brenes, therapist.

The choice of La Coralina Island House arose through Aura and Aurora's connection with Gustavo Villamor, Argentinian and founder of Aanu Editorial, a global community of therapists that seeks to deepen consciousness through therapies, and who is also director of the spa of the hotel.

At the destination, retreat participants will be exposed to all the elements of nature and will be able to enjoy everything from water therapy, AguaFlow, to a fire ceremony in the middle of the Bocas tropical forest.

Inspired by Balinese decoration, the hotel has 23 suites and 8 villas, some up to 150 square meters and private pools, all with views of the blue sea of the Panamanian Caribbean.

It is located on Paunch Beach, a beach known by surfers from all over the world, who land there during the months of December to March, the time of the best waves in the region.

Throughout the year, the destination is an oasis of tranquility.
