After the arrest of former RAF terrorist Daniela Klette in Berlin, the Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office announced a press conference for 2:30 p.m.
The agency's investigators arrested a 65-year-old woman late on Monday afternoon, but her identity was still being checked, the State Criminal Police Office said in advance on Tuesday.
Hanover - The woman could be a wanted suspected RAF member.
The press conference will be held together with the Verden public prosecutor's office, the LKA said.
There will therefore be no separate press conference in Verden on Tuesday, as was initially said.
The public prosecutor's office in Verden and the State Criminal Police Office had been searching for the ex-members of the Red Army Faction (RAF), Burkhard Garweg (55), Ernst-Volker Staub (69) and Daniela Klette (65) for decades.
