Exhibition in the moated castle in Taufkirchen: The Isener Vincent Zehetmeier alias Storeone shows modern art.

Taufkirchen

– “Modern art meets old walls” is the promising title of an exhibition by the still young art?

eV Taufkirchen is organized for the first time in the Taufkirchen moated castle.

And the exhibitor is also young: Storeone, his stage name, in normal life he is called Vincent Zehetmeier, comes from Isen, is 26 years old and is currently studying social education in Landshut.

Later he would like to work in this field part-time so that he can continue making art.

He started at the age of 17 after moving from Gars high school to Haag secondary school.

“My interest in art comes from graffiti.” He is pleased that some of his “official” graffiti, which he sprayed with a friend, are still preserved in public spaces and on private walls today - in Regensburg, Landshut, but also in Isen .

“Painting with cans was the origin, then I gradually discovered abstract, geometric shapes, patterns and letters,” he says.

Curiosity and the desire to expand and try out new things led him to canvases - “the larger the format, the better”.

Visitors to his exhibition will also experience this, “the largest work there is 2.5 by one meter,” he reveals.

He not only discovered large formats, but also a wide variety of materials: acrylic, ink, oil, chalk.

Because “Fink,” as some friends call him, is not only creative and experimental, but also productive, around 30 pictures have already been created.

It's good that he can part with his pictures.

“More space, more money,” he says pragmatically and grins.

He has also taken part in a few exhibitions: in Munich, Wasserburg with the local art association, but also in the Dorfener Tonwerk and the Johanniscafé, his pictures have already attracted attention.

“That usually happens,” says Zehetmeier, who is a communicative and polite guy.

The art people?

He still knows eV from his JUZ times in Dorfen and Taufkirchen, which is how the exhibition in the moated castle came about.

There he will exhibit 15, mostly large-format works on canvas.

“They were all created in the last month,” he says, which underlines his productivity.

The mostly abstract representations made of graphic, sometimes geometric, overlapping elements can be seen there for a weekend.

“In the context of influences from style writing and graffiti, they form their own visual aesthetic,” is how he describes them.

But he already has something new up his sleeve.

“We try to translate the geometric design language of the images into 3D ceramic models.”

If you can't imagine anything, you can discover three pieces in the ballroom and adjoining room that he created in collaboration with master ceramicist Josef Jäger.

“I'm driven, always looking for something new, because that's where the excitement and interest are greatest and then you have good energy,” he explains his drive.

With art he has found a channel that is limitless.

Because the art and creative process is always inspired by something new.

“There are always new people, new cities, new walls, new materials.” He can also imagine art as an interface to video or artificial intelligence.

Storeone doesn't want to lose money.

When asked where he sees himself in 20 years, he answers after a short thought: “Definitely self-employed, in a nice apartment, still active in the social sector and with all his energy in art, like right now.

I’ve found everything that makes me happy.”
