He was forbidden to see her.
A forty-year-old, with thirty mentions in his criminal record for drugs, theft, damage or even violence, was placed in police custody, where he remains this Tuesday, after having assaulted his ex-partner on Wednesday February 21.
In the semi-freedom regime, the individual convicted of domestic violence against his ex-partner had been incarcerated, on January 17, 2023, for non-compliance with his judgment prohibiting him from appearing near her, specifies to Figaro the prosecutor's
office
of Bordeaux.
Unable to keep his distance from his ex-partner despite his imprisonment, the forty-year-old was again sentenced to one year in prison, on July 12, 2023. At issue: death threats made via telephone calls to the latter during his incarceration, reports the Bordeaux prosecutor's office.
According to our colleagues at
BFMTV
who revealed this affair, last week the forty-year-old defied the ban on seeing his ex-partner to visit their children.

Anti-reconciliation bracelet
The only problem was that the semi-released prisoner wore an anti-reconciliation bracelet (BAR) formally prohibiting him from this visit, which he also admits to having carried out according to our sources.
As a repeat offender, the individual is in police custody for
“violence against a spouse”
and his semi-freedom was withdrawn by the judge on Tuesday.
An investigation must clarify the circumstances of the meeting in order to allow the Bordeaux public prosecutor's office to determine the appropriateness of prosecution.
According to a source close to the matter, the ex-partner of this forty-year-old would indeed be at the initiative of this proposed visit in the names of their children.
