The total amount of compensation paid up to now to the families of the fourteen victims of the Mottarone cable car accident and to the only survivor, Eitan Biran, the now nine-year-old child, fluctuates between twenty-five and thirty million euros, adding up the amount guaranteed by Leitner and Reale Mutua, the insurance of the Ferrovie del Mottarone company and of some of the defendants.
This is the figure calculated today and which emerges from the preliminary hearing underway in Verbania.
