Passau – In September 2018, Daniel Küblböck (†33) disappeared from the ship AIDAluna under mysterious circumstances.
The former DSDS star was on a cruise from Hamburg to New York.
He reportedly jumped overboard off Newfoundland.
However, his body remains untraceable.
That's why there are wild theories that the singer is still alive.
Among other things, it is said that Küblböck started a new life as a woman in a distant country like Canada or Greenland.
In 2021 he was declared dead by the Passau district court.

Now his half-brother Günther Sebastian Küblböck speaks out.
In an interview with the
current
magazine he finds very open words.
“I miss Daniel to this day and think of him very often.
I couldn't say goodbye to him.
“He was suddenly gone and I don’t know where…” he reveals.
The sadness over the loss of his famous brother is still clearly visible in him.
But what really happened on board the cruise ship?
Günther Sebastian Küblböck asserts that he doesn't know more than anyone else.
“Many people think that the family surely knows more and doesn’t want to say anything.
No!
He took the secret with him into the sea,” he explains.

“We still don’t know why he wanted to leave us back then.
“It really hit me,” he admits.

Günther Sebastian Küblböck sensed “that something was wrong.” However, the true extent remained hidden from him: “I couldn't have guessed that it was so violent.
