The municipality started the consultation phase for the requalification of Avenue Gabriel-Péri at the end of January during a public meeting at town hall.

The estimated cost of the work amounts to 17.8 million euros.

They must be spread out between 2025 and 2028.

“It’s the backbone of the city center,” recalls the deputy mayor in charge of town planning, Camille Gicquel.

Stretching 700 m long and 30 m wide, Avenue Gabriel-Péri connects the Pont d'Argenteuil to Boulevard Léon-Feix, where the town hall is located.

It is one of the routes most used by vehicles.

“70% of the passage is transit.

This is what we need to change,” underlines the mayor (LR), Georges Mothron.
