a diplomatic source in Cairo, where held talks through Egyptian and American intermediaries.
“These blockages concern
the return of displaced Palestinians to the north of the Gaza Strip
, and the end of Israeli military activities at the end of the third period of calm, that is to say after approximately three months”
, specifies this source with access to the discussions.
Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians have taken refuge in the south of the Gaza Strip, after operations by the Israeli army in the north of the enclave.
While Hamas demands their return to the north during the first phase of the 40-45 day truce, the Jewish state is only prepared to let women and men over 50 return home.
