The former governor of the province of Jujuy,
Gerardo Morales
, defended the case opened against the two men who were detained for 50 days for having published ironic tweets and photos on their networks that alluded to his wife's alleged infidelity.
"The identity of my 2-year-old daughter, who starts kindergarten next week, has become uncertain.
What do I say two years from now to my daughter when she asks me who the father is?
What will she end up with? the psychological health of my daughter after such a crime that has been committed," questioned the radical leader.
Nahuel Morandini and Roque Villegas spent more than 50 days imprisoned in Jujuy.
Although they will continue to be prosecuted and are headed to trial, this Monday the prosecutor ordered that they be released since he considered that there was no procedural risk.
In this regard, Morales clarified: "It is not a case for tweeting, but for organizing and altering the identity of a two-year-old girl. And gender violence against my wife. If it is simplified into being for a tweet, it seems like an exaggeration. But the problem is that the cause is not known and people speak without knowing. I know the cause because I am a plaintiff."
According to the former governor, "what emerges from the evidence of Morandini and Villegas' cell phones is a consequence of
the organization and planning of spreading infamy
to cause harm."
And he specified: "It is a group of 13 people, among others. And from some texts it appears that since December
they have been trying to establish
infidelity and lies."
In that sense, he blamed Milagro Sala's Tupac Amaru: "It is a serious crime, what they have done is very strong. My wife did not want to return to Jujuy, she is undergoing psychological treatment. The misogynistic viciousness. If they wanted to harm me family, they did it.
Here there is an organization of a group from Tupac.
Gómez Alcorta, the lawyers of MIlagro Sala, met."
