"Speaking with all the operators, no one believes that Italy will be able to achieve the objectives of the Pniec (the national energy plan, ed.) between now and 2030 and thereafter. Let's tell each other these things, because either we drastically accelerate, or we will not reach the objectives.
And this will be an economic cost, as well as an environmental one."
This was said by the scientific director of the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (Asvis), Enrico Giovannini, at a conference on the Pniec (the national energy plan) organized in the Chamber by the Ecco think tank.
