A court in Magdeburg announces the verdict against the Halle attacker: the right-wing terrorist receives another prison sentence for taking hostages.
Magdeburg – Stephan S., the Halle assassin, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for taking hostages in Burg prison.
The Stendal regional court decided this on Tuesday.
Because of the racist and anti-Semitic attack near the synagogue in Halle, the 32-year-old was sentenced to life imprisonment followed by preventive detention in 2020.
