Highlights: Key, 30% more exhibitors at the renewables fair - Energia & Energie. The Italian energy transition expo, Key, returns to the Rimini Fair from 28 February to 1 March. The Italian energy transition expo, Key, returns to the Rimini Fair from 28 February to 1 March.

This is the second edition of a spinoff launched last year from the Ecomondo green economy fair.


   Around 800 exhibiting brands are expected (over 30% more than in 2023), 35% from abroad.

Key will also host approximately 300 buyers and delegations from 57 countries.


    In the 16 pavilions of the fair (4 more than in 2023), companies and institutions involved in solar photovoltaic, wind, hydrogen, energy efficiency, sustainable construction, energy storage, e-Mobility, sustainable cities will exhibit.

The Minister of the Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto, will inaugurate the expo on Wednesday.


    In addition to the exhibition part, numerous conferences and workshops will be held at the expo.

The most important will be the Key Energy Summit on the 28th: ​​the main renewables business associations (Anev, Anie Rinnovabili, Assoidroelettrica, Cib, CoordinamentoFree, Elettricità Futura, FederIdroelettrica, Italia Solare) will discuss with Minister Pichetto.

The discussion will start from unpublished research by the consultancy firm Althesys on the governance of the transition.


    On Thursday 29th the Symbola Foundation will present its 2nd Report on the production geography of renewables in Italy.


   Legambiente will disseminate two studies: one on the main obstacles still encountered by clean sources in our country, the other on renewable energy communities.


    During the fair, Dpe - International Elextricity Expo will take place in pavilion A1, the event aimed at the ecosystem of electrical generation, transmission, distribution, safety and automation.


   The Innovation District, the space dedicated to startups and SMEs in the energy transition, will be strengthened in Key.

The "Innovative Start-Up" Award and the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award for innovation will be awarded for the first time.
